All-Time Versus
Draw a franchise. Choose the slot. Build the all-time team.
All-Time Versus is Hadtoo's sports debate prototype. Each of five rounds gives each player one random franchise; the player decides which still-open lineup position to fill, builds an all-time team, compares it head-to-head, and advances through a tournament by honor vote, coin flip, or a future transparent rating model.
HOW THE GAME WORKS
Draw a franchise
Each matchup has five rounds. Every round gives each entrant one random franchise. A player receives five unique franchises across the matchup, but the franchise is not tied to a position.
Choose an open slot
After seeing the franchise, choose any still-open position. NFL requires QB, RB, WR, TE, and DEF; NBA requires PG, SG, SF, PF, and C. Once a slot is used, it stays closed for later rounds.
Enter the all-time pick
Type an all-time player from that franchise for the chosen position. If an NFL player spends the draw on DEF, they enter a defense season year instead of an individual player.
Compare and advance
After round five, both completed lineups are shown together. Honor Vote lets both players choose the better lineup with a coin tiebreak on a split decision; Coin Flip is the fast party resolution. Winners move through quarterfinals, semifinals, and the championship.
WHAT HADTOO CREATED FOR THIS TITLE
Specific systems, not a claim over the whole genre.
- Hadtoo's franchise-first, position-second five-round draft where every franchise draw can be allocated to any still-open roster slot.
- Hadtoo's eight-seed tournament flow around repeated five-round lineup drafts.
- The paired Honor Vote and Coin Flip resolution modes, including the split-vote tiebreak flow.
- The planned transparent 0–20 Player Log system that turns five player or defense grades into an explainable 0–100 lineup score.
- The responsive bracket-and-lineup interface and first-party implementation used by the Hadtoo version.
ORIGINALITY BOUNDARY
What we mean when we call it original.
All-time sports debates, fantasy lineup building, random-team prompts, and social-media franchise challenges are established formats. Hadtoo does not claim the underlying idea of choosing famous players from randomly assigned teams. The Hadtoo-specific work is the franchise-round allocation mechanic, tournament structure, exact position/defense rules, resolution modes, future transparent rating system, interface, and software implementation assembled around that familiar sports-debate format.
